WELCOME TO THE MALMÖ INTERNATIONAL ROTARY CLUB

Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbours, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite to take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

Club News
Malmö International Rotary Club (MIRC) members and friends enjoyed the club's annual garden party for the last official meeting of the 2023-2024 Rotary year.

New MIRC President Alireza Koozad (left) and Immediate Past President Pete Hallworth.
Our guest speaker on April 22nd was Rebecka Ericsson, Regional Library Developer for Skåne, and her talk was one of the more relevant presentations we have had this year in MIRC. Democracy is under threat in many parts of the world and Sweden is a so-called full democracy with public libraries playing an important role in maintaining it.

During a pair of Rotary Ego Speeches we had the pleasure to learn about the personal journeys of two “legal eagles” who have spread their wings from different starting points in Asia. Both have now landed with grace and style as members of the Malmö International Rotary Club.
