As part of our series of walks this year, a keen group met at Lund’s Botanical Gardens on Sunday (April 24).

A university garden has existed in Lund since 1690 and, in its current location since 1846. It offers Education (research and lectures), Recreation (public events) and Preservation (protecting endangered species).

Despite some clouds, the rain stayed away while a group of Rotarians, together with family and friends (including small children and pets) made an informal guided tour led by Deborah Mattsson Clarke.

The remainder of the afternoon was spent with coffee and muffins in the fresh air giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy each other’s company.
